Here its December everyday

 Hello world, cats of the internet realm, astrology witches & you ...yes YOU surviving through these tumultuous times. 

We've made it to the last chapter of 2020 & according to all the zodiac gurus this month is suppose to be good for everyone...I hope. 

I do look forward to the X-mas caffeinated drinks, preferably anything gingerbread none of that peppermint mocha nonsense seriously.Who could possibly forget the winter themed candles?  & cute plaid scarves lookit me sounding straight outta Vogue. 

On another note the photos of people putting up their trees are beginning to resurface & the selfies with Xmas trees in the background . I gotta tell you guise its bittersweet ....a lot of things happened this year. I'm not even going to get into the what did you achieve part ? 

A lot of us were living through anxiety, panic attacks, depression, loosing loved ones & struggling on how to pay bills. We'd lay in bed in the fetus position every other week holding on to our cats ? Or dog? Or hamsters..idk. I spent my time at home gaining weight & panicking that i wasn't going to have enough books to read to keep me sane. Lucky for me i turned to catching up on podcasts, taking mini road trips & going on outings here and there. I was over the moon when i got hired at spirit halloween for a bit. I don't want to say its the best job I've ever had ! I believe it had a lot to do with being surrounded by something i truly loved. And i was able to express myself through my clothes and make up. I miss it so much, it was so short term, but it provided me with a routine something i craved so much. For that month i felt as though things WERE back to normal...might i add the Starbucks before work was a triple plus. 

I do want to share the weekend corruption...

Here's a recommendation for you curry lovers out there...

Oswald ^ pictured in the photo is always up for trying new foods. Whether its a fancy restaurant or your taco or torta troca he NEVER says no.

Then he proceeds to go all Anthony Bourdain on the people working there while i bust a chef Ramsey "you call this Tofu?!?" 

I am totally kidding. I would NEVER.  

So let me rewind back to Saturday we were lazy and taking multiple naps through out the day 

I guess you can say we were in house cat mode. 

The weather was chilly & i always say 

cold weather is the best for the perfect food crime that involves curry! Or ramen 

Either or can't go wrong. 

This sweet little joint is called curry boys & it's located in H.P. 

I had the curry with rice & the mouth watering garlic bread. As i am typing this i am making myself really friggin hungry! 

Anyways guise support small businesses & go give them a try ! They just opened up two months ago & they are working on building their rep. 

Another place i decided to give a try was this one by the name casita del campo. 

The outside is a pink building & the patio area catches the eye with the pretty lights & intimate vibe. 

I was looking for food since i was going to indulge in the survivor series event...( I only watched for the undertakers retirement segment) 

Yep. 

On my way home I passed by that Sunday, they had me at white Russians BUT the food was what i was dying to taste. 

I give you perfection, my fave was the plantains & the garlic shrimp. 

They even sent me a pin, would you look at that! 

I have so many photos from the month of October that i WOULD love to share! It was very special and eventful but i might make it into a zine and print out a few copies. 

I have a couple of ideas brewing up in my brain... I'll see. 

What i will share is this Snoopy (drinking a chai white russian)  that Oswald & i won a few weeks ago when we went to knotts taste of Xmas lookit how adorable.

Hi it's the last Wednesday of July 

I'm currently sippin on a vanilla caffe frappuccino..in my Halloween jammie pants & a torn up cramps shirt...my hair? Lets just say both Edward Scissorhands & Robert Smith would be proud. 

One of my fans finally gave in ..so im considering just buying an A/C unit. 

On different note i have put together 

a playlist that consists of the new blaqk audio material....yes! the gods decided to bless us at the beginning of this rough meh week. They've returned With new jams & With a brand new logo of three palm trees in the distance & in a soft pink & black color of course. I'm so psyched...I had to fight back tears because i reminisce about ALL the times I've been down over my life,work or heart aches. And the following day when im at my lowest they will never fail me to come to the rescue. 

My favorites so far are consort & Zipper dont work <--- this one though mmmmh....a sexually frustrated Davey sings "Why must you make? You make me wait.. Why? when there's so much to see oh so much What can i do? For heavens sake. When will you move to touch me? Touch me

& then i faint. 

Apparently that lucky lady or dude is making him work for it right?

Yesterday was happy mail day 

I made a small order from a very old friend ..

And he threw in all these free goodies

Next week I got invited to a birthday get together so i have that to look forward to.

SummerWeen outdoors & feeling the blues

Well well well...after months without baking FINALLY I decided to get creative for the Carrie outdoors screening at the SugarMynt Gallery this past Friday ^__^ 

I used the Duncan Hines red velvet mix & the cream cheese frosting. 

I was rushing it so I didn't have enough time to make frosting from scratch ...may i remind you i hadn't baked in a while soooo the nerves were kicking in. 

Luckily my mom & brother were my taste guinea pigs. 

They gave them a 10/10 on taste & 10/10 on decor! 🔪

Eddie went for seconds & my friends seemed to REALLY enjoy them. 

This Saturday they are showing another favorite of ours The Shining. 

I will be making them vegan this time AND I've already got three designs in mind. 

I'm over the moon about it! On a side note tis was nice to see my friend Marilu, Horror Buff Georgie & my cousin Cuzine who I recently made amends with. 

We were trying to look for a place to dine at but the yard house had an hour wait...we tried Tommy's and they were closed we all went our separate ways & Eddie & I got tacos.. Tacos forever! Ugh. 

Yesterday i sat in the car with the seat back cloud gazing through the car window while The Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream played back to back ... 

For a moment i felt like I was grounding myself, it was a bit of a crazy day & then not long after the sadness kicked in. 

As my friends start to go back to work one by one, it sinks in more that i will have to go back to a different work place once the unemployment gets cut. 

I'm not complaining but this year has been a giant wave of emotions and changes ...

It's only reasonable that sadness is the current emotion.

To whoever is reading this i hope you're hanging in there. 

You are living through a lot right now but its only temporary

Things will not go back to normal but they will be better than normal.

Hello 🐠🐟🦑🌙⚡feeling rather chatty & 

…..still trying to get use to this undeniably absurd weather. I become the biggest whiny baby when its hot! This happens once a year... I just want it to rain ☔ or be really windy & cold.

Highlights of yesterday I was living my best bodega cat life, Eddie took me to work with him I bought us food burrito, shrimp tacos & steamed veggies! Hell yeahh. I finished Christian DeWild's Some days are Ashes (a collection of Halloween themed poems) 

& I'm halfway done with Water Witchcraft by Annwyn Avalon. I'm REALLY enjoying this one & taking down notes. As a full pisces, I'm an empath (most water signs are) & I'm looking for ways to protect my energy & not feel so drained by people all the time. I require a lot of alone time to recharge.

I'm surprised by how much i got done, I've come to find that i can read better in public places same thing with writing. I've also began to reread the entire Harry Potter collection, since we started going down the films. And ...Shirley Jackson's autobiography a rather haunted life. Can you tell I've got free time? 

I got a haircut on Saturday! & i feel great! All thanks to my witchy friend Cori. 

It's always good to see her, & in ways comforting to know that there are a lot of people going through several things. We talked cats, our magic &&& relationship talk.

I went to 711 & i got some beanie babies a lion unicorn for my Leo friend & a narwhal for me because it was cute & its a meeee i also bought some dunkaroos…..

Just realized ^^^ this sounded like something i woulda written in my lisa frank diary back in the 90s. Six year old Chibbs & her scribbles with the stick figures & cats with extension like whiskers.

My cats are doing okay, Mcmittens is sitting infront of me staring at me i think he's suffering with this weather. I can't blame him. I try to put ice cubes in their water and have the fans on for most of the day. 

Good news retrograde is over & done with! 🌊 did you survive? 

I am relieved this one had me tearing up 3 days straight. Of course i put some sappy songs & let it out. For no reason too, I forced myself to get up & go buy sage & new crystals. Dark times my friends….but it'll get better i promise, i know it will. 

This weekend we're going to see a screening of creature from the black lagoon at the Sugarmynt gallery, & on Sunday we're going to joshua tree ! Staying in this UFO themed trailer…

I think we should listen to nothing but Smashing Pumpkins on the way there….the polaroid is all set to goooo….stay tune! 

I hope everyone is doing okay✨ physically & mentally, lockdown PT 2 begins ….

A lot of people I know are bummed out about Halloween being canceled...whatever happened to Everyday is Halloween? Where is the spirit? Sure horror nights & knotts might not happen, with that being said

I will give you some tips on my next entry on things you can do to celebrate.

Magical Trees.

With that being said its the middle of the year & we've now entered Cancer season, mosquito season, take out that Meg Myers or Smashing pumpkins record. Iced teas, iced lattes & shorts are your best friends for the next 3-4 months.

Baby king posing! He's usually the one behind the camera but we have this thing where if he wants me to pose for him he needs to pose after too other wise noooo deal sorry. 

This past weekend, we returned to Idy for an early birthday celebration of the baby king.

Our options during this pandemic are very slim, so when in doubt run to nature.

I surprised him with a two day stay at Hicksville pine & bud breakfast.

We had a beautiful experience last time & the staff there (Nikki, Mel & Eric) are really sweet & kind people. They make you feel at home right away. 

One of my favorite parts was probably the second day,  we wandered around the property & looked at all the giant trees. Lots of fresh air, & the sound of our shoes stepping on the leaves. 

Look at this...I could live here.

 

I sat on that trunk & made a wish. 

This photo reminded me of the cover of The Giving tree, couldn't help but giggle. 

What will that tree give him? Or will the tree fall & squash him? 

That went dark pretty quick right?

The first night we got drunk, smoked, & we talked for hours trying to figure out what kinda film we'd make if Guillermo del toro contacted us to make a film about the place

 Only the sound of our voices, the lighter, the few bugs crawling on the table.

The darkness swallowed us, you'd see nothing but pitch black sometimes .

We were pretty isolated for the most part & maintained our distance at all times. Masks on always.

This time, we were secluded in the blue chalet (Haunted Mansion themed) 

I loved the dark colors, the art, the spooky vibe was nothing but comforting & relaxing.

Once the greenery comes into view, I know  we've entered a different realm.

Caturday. 

Woke up with Alice Cooper's Mr. Nice guy stuck in my head.

Then i recalled that dreamcar covered that song at the Roxy & got REAL excited. 

Punk rock & Coffee ...say no more. 

Cue Descendents, Black flag & Ramones. 

Not all heroes wear capes ...this is very true. For some of them, their wardrobe consists of stripes & band tees, heart shaped prescription glasses & they work at a comic book store. 

And sometimes they are kind & thoughtful enough to risk their lives &  drive an hour to Upland without complaining so that their bratty but adorable girlfriend can get her favorite coffee. 

All this during a pandemic. 

I mean....🖤💘 

If that's not love? Then i don't know what is. 

I love RadCoffee with ALL my heart, i love what they stand for, i love the imagery,the drinks, the vegan options & the employees are forever really nice.In my opinion it's almost like donut friend but wayyy cooler. 

Anyway. 

We ended up with these yummy drinks.

The Creature (the green one of course) is a minty refreshing lemonade & sure you can probably add a shot or two of vodka if you REALLY wanted to. Cookies N Scream is forever my favorite drink at Rad Coffee. It was the first one i tried when the place first open. It holds a memory also the Bride & Dracula are classics & they use to sell an horchatagato one ...well guess what? Now its premade! & it comes in these adorable tiny bottles. We got there just in time before the line got super packed. I was very animated in line twirling & looking at the T shirts & ooo now they carry these really cute shorts. 🙊 

Little Miss messy lipstick ...in my defense, i was wearing a mask before i took this so? Whatever. But there i was posing & thrilled. Upon the first sip i knew things were finally okay...with all the endorphins going on in my brain .

I love Rad Coffee & I love Upland.

I highly recommend going. 

Honestly the drive is nice you can even make your own playlist you won't even feel the time ..but also being in the perfect company & you get yummy coffee. Just don't forget to wear a mask when you go in. 

We ended the night with pizza,wings & batman movies. 

He showed me one where Harley sings a blondie song. It is now permanently stuck in my brain as one of the greatest scenes I've seen in a Batman movie. 

Ooookay its 630 am gonna take a nap before breakfast.

Sailor Moon,Norms & Coffee Trip. (The happy post)

Hiii everyone.. Chibi here.
My sleeping schedule is back to semi normal. Instead of waking up at 3 pm I'm now waking up at 4 am. Not bad right?
Only downside is by 6 pm I'm already knocking out.
We're down to the last week of April.
Did this month feel like it faded away super quick?
How many books did you finish? Did you discover a new band? Or finish a series on Netflix?

I had a really nice weekend, baby king treated us to norms & Starbucks on Sunday morning.And thai food on Tuesday super sweet 😭 the food outings makes it feel like Quarantine is over.
Things felt normal once again, almost like we were able to go out. Even if it was something so simple like getting coffee.
We came home & had a Sailor Moon marathon, then watched Dr. Doolittle the one with Robert Downey Jr. I actually enjoyed this version, whole different story but he was still able to communicate with the animals.
Other movies we watched Alita, Tragedy Girls, & assassination nation. All female fronted movies. Cue Rebel girl cause fuck yeah!!!
Two of them left me feeling strange ...the type of what did i JUST WATCH?!? I highly recommend all three :)


May 3rd

I didn't feel like starting a new intro soooo...im just continuing where i left off. It's 5 am & im sitting up in bed guarding the baby king while he sleeps i feel  like a house cat. I've learned not to interrupt his schedule cause it affects him real bad & he looks out of it.Plus it was real difficult to get back into sleeping before 6 am gah. I don't want to remember.

Little miss chunky thighs ...wearing jeans! They were gifted to me by miss Stardust herself. But seriously?! Who IS SHE?!? Wild fable by target is my favorite brand EVER. Here's a photo of myself visiting Boris Karloff this past thursday. We had a couple of beers & watched Coraline. Talked more paranormal stuff, burned some sage & played with Make up. I know we're not suppose to be going to each others house we did keep a distance the entire time & in a way id like to think it lifted our spirits 🖤 i can assure you there was less than 10 people there two humans & a very chatty cat.

Merry Beltane to all my witches. It is a time of rebirth, growth and change. 

I wanted to bake a green man cake but? Had none of the ingredients. I did however decorate a cauldron by putting some fake flowers in it. 

How did you celebrate? 

This was some Pretty & tasty Hawaiin BBQ from Friday, we decided to try a new place & luckily this one was open...& nope I cant recall the name. Ooops.

My little brother surprised me with Tacos from Chipotle. He's been real kind to me during this whole unemployed situation. It warms my heart.

 Thursday morning , i made egg in a basket & perhaps cooked the sausage a little too long. I'm practicing portion control again . ^_^
