As I stated last night, I'm still riding that happy chemical wave. It's nice to have events that are happening back to back & then the only thing yoi look forward to is a power nap session on the weekends. Am i right? It's nice to be busy, & to be working and seeing it pay off. Workaholism is a thing again.
Let me just say, going to live shows again feels like a dream. So far away from the reality we were living in a year ago. I missed it more than i realized. I'm ready for the new memories.
Let's talk spooky stuff
About a week ago, we saw this flyer for fear street surfing the web. And we had some free time we decided to investigate the curiosity was through the roof for this one!
It's located on Melrose, & its made to look like your dream Spook show VHS store from the 90s. Or as some passerbys called it "a weird bar". If you remember being that kid that passed the third grade with only book reports on Goosebumps. Welp this is for you.
The event is inspired by the Netflix trilogy Fear Street. In case you were wondering what IS that?!
The wait in line is dreadful but it's beautifully put together. We got there and one Earl Grey Ice blended from Urth cafe later, & a conversation about sleep and what the other two films will be about. We found ourselves looking up at this beautiful neon sign.
Fear Street ~ It read our eyes dilating with anticipation, wearing our jackets as if it was our armor to fight off the monsters we were going to encounter inside. My stomach turned a bit, & I felt a bit anxious. What if im not brave anymore? What if i actually scream? What if Eddie screams? Dammit. I am laughing as i type this guise.
